KUTSU

This sneaker is one of my favourite projects I have done to date. This was created for my unit 4 outcome VCD subject. With my passion for fashion and footwear I really enjoyed creating these sneakers. One of the most exciting aspects of this project was creating an original sneaker silhouette, which I then added my own paisley pattern to. I used shoe lasts to achieve the sneaker shape then stitched together all the elements and finally glued it to the XPS foam mid-sole which I cast. The box was a design addition, and again reflected the minimalist theme seen throughout the design.
